Delete your KidSecure account
You can delete your KidSecure account at any time. Here's how to proceed and what it means for your data.
From the mobile app
Open the KidSecure app, then go to: Settings → Delete my account → Confirm Your account will be deleted immediately.
From the website
Sign in to your account on kidsecure.ca, then go to: Settings → Profile → Delete my account Follow the instructions to confirm the deletion.
Data deleted
The following personal data is irreversibly anonymized: • First and last name • Email address • Phone number • Profile photo
Data retained
In accordance with Canadian tax obligations, the following data is retained for 7 years: • Invoices and payment history • Tax receipts This data is dissociated from your personal identity.
Deletion timeline
Your account deletion is immediate. Once confirmed, this action is irreversible.
